I appreciate the kind words. I'm inclined to agree with Purdue University president Mitch Daniels's statement that Dr. Koonin's book may have been the most important book of last year, so I refer to it at every opportunity, having directed two further Naptown Numbers pieces to it.
There are some basic reasons for the variable water levels, uneven thermal expansion of global water bodies, shifting magnetic poles, movement of the tectonic plates, distance from the sun, and solar activity, and the only crises we have are the dooms day enthusiast who are making a living off an apathetic public. and when the biggest GHG is omitted by the Useless Nations IPCC and the consensus of like minded greedy environmentalist and politicians who make a profit from creating fear and distraction from everyday real social problems.
